Franz Drdla had also arranged this piece for piano solo. The Souvenir, or 'Memory', is a definite audience pleaser and a marvelous piece to play between larger works. It is not too difficult and possesses charming original melodies. The violin states a phrase posed as a question, followed by responses. The accompanying harmonies produce for a pleasant experience for all listeners.
