Kreisler's Three Viennese Dances (Originally for the violin) included the Liebesleid; the most widely performed one meaning 'Love's Sorrow', as well as Liebesfreud (love's joy) and Schön Rosmarin (The fair or beautiful Rosmarin). Kreisler Liebesleid is also available for cello. As he'd done with many of his short compositions, he'd attributed the authorship of these dances to another composer called Joseph Lanner. They are now said to be in his style, and resemblance is apparent when, as an example, we review this unknown composer's piece titled ''Die Schönbrunner" or "The Schonbrunn" which is likely referring to Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna.
