Also known as 'Lourre' or 'Bourre I and II', this piece originates from Bach's third cello suite. This arrangement was created for violin and piano. However additional arrangements exist such one by Friedrich Wilhelm Stade for viola or cello and piano. The Bourree is the most performed movement of this suite.
